We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This information is used internally, only to tell us which parts of our site are visited most often and from what type of domain - .com, .net, .org, etc.

The use of our email information services, such as ''B2B2DAY(USA)'' requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address). We use this customer contact information to (at the user's option) send the user useful information and news about Information Technology, eProcurement, eMarketplaces and occasionally, information about our company.

The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.

Choice and Opt-Out

We provide users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us. every electronic communication sent by us includes information about unsubscribing from the service.

If any user does not wish to receive further communications from us, or to no longer receive our service, the procedure is to reply to any received email with the word "unsubscribe" (without quotes) as the top line of the body text of the reply email.

It is also possible to send a new email to unsubscribe-{name of email service}@mailer.elcom.co.uk. (Our broadcast email server is at our UK location.)

In the event of having problems in unsubscribing from any elcom Email News Service, users can send email to unsubscribe.problems@elcom.com giving details of the email address they used to sign up. We will manually search our database and remove them from the list. It is never elcom's intention to email anyone who does not wish to receive communications from us.

It should be noted that curently, the best way to change an email address is to unsubscribe from the previous address and resubscribe on our Web site from the new address. If your old email address becomes unuseable, our email software will, in any case, automatically delete the information we hold on that record after three unsucessful attempts to send email.
