At ELCOM, we’re delighted to announce that the #EURINV19 project is progressing successfullyAt this point in the project, we are completing mandatory tests that are required prior to moving to the Action stage of the project. The tests are necessary to ensure that the technical implementation is performed correctly.

David Rolfe, Althea UK&I Chief Executive Officer “We are delighted to be partnering with ELCOM on the EURINV19 project and to be one of the first companies to implement new innovative invoicing solutions which are compliant to European standards.”

Thanks to the partnership with ELCOM, Althea UK will benefit from this project as it will allow them to provide better care for their customers and streamline their invoicing processes. Althea UK will be able to send and receive EN-compliant invoices, translate invoices into different formats with ease, and access real-time reporting of invoices, whilst having the support of ELCOM to integrate the new eInvoicing platform with their existing ERP systems. Althea UK EN compliant eInvoicing cloud platforms will make them available to hundreds of clients around the EU and associated countries.

The EURINV19 project in which we take part moves forward. As part of the required activities to start the technical deployment of the Action, the consortium of participants has concluded the analysis of the legal and technical requirements. We studied our context and transpositions of the European 2014/55/EU Directive and the technical needs for our particular case.

The coordinator, University of Valencia, as well as the technical manager, LMT, have also provided their knowledge of past Actions that were as well co-financed by INEA, the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency, through the CEF Telecom programs.

With the conclusion of this analytical period, we are now able to start the deployment of the compliant syntaxes UBL and CII for our cloud platform. EURINV19 seeks to update the electronic invoicing platforms of 5 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers to be fully compliant with the European eInvoicing standard (EN) required syntaxes (UBL and CII) and to implement eInvoicing solutions compliant with EN for 4 end-users.
