Due to the crisis in the supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to NHS medical staff treating Covid19 patients, we have seen an influx of urgent requests to source suppliers with available stock. The PPE provision we are being asked for includes:
- Surgical masks
- Respiratory masks
- Visors/goggles
- Protective coveralls
- Gloves
We do have existing suppliers that have stock availability and we are also sourcing others. We also have other suppliers offering their services e.g. plastics, packaging and textile companies offering to make items such as visors, masks and protective workwear. We care deeply about the current situation regarding the lack of PPE equipment to medical staff and want to help where we can. Our team is dedicated to support and help NHS procurement staff to source desperately needed items. We have staff working full time on these requests, some working outside their normal working hours doing everything they can to help.
