Senior Project Manager – Glasgow

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for start-up, delivery and closedown activities for external client implementations and internal R&D projects

  •  Interfaces with all levels of ELCOM team members and management to undertake detailed planning and project scoping activities.

  • Managing multiple concurrent work streams in a dynamic environment including key system integrations
  • Owning project documentation which involves among other things preparing and agreeing PID, Project Plan, RAID log, carrying out risk assessments and running project meetings.

  •  Promote and follow best practices and implement effective processes to ensure reliable, high-quality and documented project delivery

Graduate Software Developer – Glasgow

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement new product features for Java based applications.

  • Support existing applications resolving defects and troubleshooting.

  • Adhere to design and software development standards. Maintain up to date knowledge of software development disciplines and best practices.

  • Provide technical support to QA and Operations during QA periods and production pushes.

  • Prioritize daily activities to accomplish assignments.

  • Work in a highly interactive Agile Scrum development team, participating in cross-team code and task reviews, and testing, being accountable for quality and adherence to standards.

  • Observations: The role might suit a recent graduate in Computer Science, or a related subject, who is seeking a software development career. You will be using, and learning about the latest technologies and techniques for producing modern, responsive, web-based applications.
