UI Designer – Glasgow

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop User Interface, new features and customize existing modules for new and existing products using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript using W3C standards.

  • Produce wireframes and / or storyboards from SCRUM and functional specification inputs.

  • Write unit tests for your code.

  • Work and communicate with teams around the globe.

  • Understand the user experience requirements of e-commerce.

  • Use Firebug and chrome developer tools to debug and check for issues.

  • Ability to create new icons and modify existing icons using Photoshop tools.

  • Research problems and ask questions if needed.

  • Observations: The role might suit an experienced UI Designer, or a related subject, who is seeking career progression. You will be self-driven and have a can-do attitude.

Graduate Software Developer – Glasgow

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement new product features for Java based applications.

  • Support existing applications resolving defects and troubleshooting.

  • Adhere to design and software development standards. Maintain up to date knowledge of software development disciplines and best practices.

  • Provide technical support to QA and Operations during QA periods and production pushes.

  • Prioritize daily activities to accomplish assignments.

  • Work in a highly interactive Agile Scrum development team, participating in cross-team code and task reviews, and testing, being accountable for quality and adherence to standards.

  • Observations: The role might suit a recent graduate in Computer Science, or a related subject, who is seeking a software development career. You will be using, and learning about the latest technologies and techniques for producing modern, responsive, web-based applications.
